| Expanded Membership Sales Team Rides Momentum of Growing National Brand
Manchester, NH (August 25, 2005) — Flooring America and Flooring Canada continue
to accelerate new membership development with a freshly realigned sales team, a
comprehensive mapping system, and expanded prospect symposium efforts.
“We’ve re-evaluated our membership programs both internally and externally,”
explained Russ Smith, vice president of new membership. “By optimizing the
effectiveness of our new development initiatives, Flooring America and Flooring Canada
are on track to achieve a dramatic increase in membership for 2006.”
Through the ongoing and focused approach to building a national brand over the
last few years, Flooring America and Flooring Canada have caught the attention of
independent floorcovering retailers with innovative and effective consumer and member
programs. In order to more efficiently concentrate on the increased membership demand,
Flooring America and Flooring Canada have increased the size of their membership sales
team by 30%. “There’s never been a better time to be a part of our proven success
formula,” stated Vinnie Virga, president of Flooring America. The new membership sales
team includes: Wanda Trammell, senior membership director; Bill Hosner, regional
membership director; and Brian Dodson, regional membership director. “Our new sales
team is better prepared to give more attention to branch expansion and new membership

Flooring America and Flooring Canada have also launched a comprehensive
mapping system. This new system will map Flooring America and Flooring Canada
branch locations, expansion opportunities, and potential new membership sites
throughout the top market service areas by population in North America. “We’re excited
to be able to see where we are and where we’re going to be,” remarked Smith.
In addition, Flooring America and Flooring Canada extended new member
presentations to include monthly Discovery Days for prospective members. Discovery
Days will be held at Flooring America/Flooring Canada headquarters in Manchester, NH,
beginning September 2005. Prospects will choose from pre-slotted days to participate in
intensive, one-on-one orientation to the Flooring America/Flooring Canada brand
conducted by Vinnie Virga, president of Flooring America, and other key Flooring
America/ Flooring Canada executives.
