Flooring America Promotes Leaver to Director of Communications
Manchester, NH (May 16, 2005) – As Flooring America continues to maximize their
internal talent, Tim Leaver, former regional manager of the Southwest area, was
promoted to Director of Communications.
With his experience working directly with members as a regional manager and a
strong marketing/communications background, Leaver is a natural fit for this new
position. Leaver will now be responsible for member communications, including
Neighborhood Network, Flooring America's powerful member support program that
brings members together in common and nearby markets to inform them of
opportunities and provide a sounding board for information, training, advice,
and ideas. As Director of Communications, Leaver will report directly to Deb
Binder, vice president of marketing.

communications background and experience working with members will help us

Previously at Flooring America, Leaver combined his marketing background and
practical work experience as a consultant on salespeople and showrooms to excel
as a regional manager. Prior to joining Flooring America, Leaver held the
positions of marketing manager and national sales manager for Cambridge
SoundWorks, a speaker manufacturer and consumer electronics retailer, where
he was responsible for product forecasts as well as managing marketing and
in-home consultation programs.
