Manchester, NH (September 11, 2003) – Flooring America announced the appointment of four new members to the distinguished Advisory Council that represents the membership of the retail floorcovering cooperative.

The four newly appointed Council members are: John Menarde, Jr. (Feasterville Floor Covering—Feasterville, PA), Howie Stein (Eddy's Carpet & Warehouse—Worcester, MA), Rick Warman (Rick Warman's Flooring America—Posen, IL), and Gina Cook (Warehouse Carpets – Spokane, WA).

“Our Advisory Council embodies the professional wisdom and guidance of our members," said Evan Hackel, Flooring America's President. "Their considerable input influences every new initiative undertaken by the management of Flooring America. I look forward to our new members’ participation on this important committee."

Each of the Council members serves a rotating three-year term. The members are selected to maintain a balanced representation of all geographical areas of the country and sizes of store operations.

The Advisory Council solicits suggestions and feedback from Flooring America’s members/store owners, and then formulates member positions on everything from product line composition to display creation and marketing strategy.
