Barbara Barry Arrives In International Design Guild Showrooms
Manchester, NH—The new Gradations Collection of hand-knotted
wool carpets and rugs designed by Barbara Barry for Tufenkian
Carpets have arrived in International Design Guild Showrooms
nationwide. The highly-anticipated line is offered in five trademark
Barbara Barry designs and multiple colors.
The Gradations Collection features a variety of muted colors
with patterns inspired by nature. Alan Petlin, International
Design Guild member and owner of Gourmet Floors in San Antonio,
Texas, remarks, “The hand-spun, hand-knotted collection
is classic Barbara Barry, giving a rustic or earthy feel to
the collection.” Similarly, Gradations manufacturer Tufenkian
Carpets is touting the Collection as “perfectly imperfect,”
referring to the uniqueness of each product rendered by
natural variation in the wool’s color and texture.
With modern lines evoking landscapes, available in natural
colors of greens, browns and beiges, the Gradations Collection
is a timeless line of wall to wall broadloom and rugs. The availability
of colors, (custom colors by request) and patterns combined
with using 100 percent hand-spun and hand-knotted wool adds
to the value of the product. “Our members are thrilled
to offer this new line from Tufenkian,” says International
Design Guild Vice President Krista Eliason. “Barbara Barry
designs have been very popular items for our showrooms, and
now with Gradations, we will be offering yet another authentic,
luxury product for our clients.”
The Gradations Collection will be the second Barbara Barry
collection offered in International Design Guild Showrooms.
Barry’s designs by Blue Ridge debuted in International
Design Guild showrooms in January 2003. To find an International
