Design Guild/Asid Student Design Awards Announced
(WASHINGTON, D.C., March 15, 2004) – The American Society
of Interior Designers and the International Design Guild (Guild)
are pleased to announce the recipients of the 2004 International
Design Guild/ASID Student Design Awards. The awards recognize
outstanding interior floor covering designs by undergraduate
or graduate ASID student members in both rug and broadloom categories.
The 2004 International Design Guild/ASID Student Design Award

A jury of Guild members met during the Guild’s annual
convention in Las Vegas from Jan. 25 – 30 to evaluate
the entries and select the winners of the 2004 competition from
hundreds of applicants. Each of the first-place award winners
received a cash prize of $2,500, each first runner-up honoree
received $1,000 and each of the honorable mention honorees received
$100. Digital images of the winning entries are available to
the media upon request.
