ERNST & YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR AWARDS
MANCHESTER, NH (October 9, 2006) – Howard Brodsky, CEO and Chairman of Manchester-based CCA Global Partners, will act as one of 4 judges for the prestigious Ernst & Young Retail & Consumer Entrepreneur of the Year awards this November. Judges for this coveted national award include entrepreneurs and prominent leaders from academia, business and the media and are often past award winners. Brodsky received the Retail Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 1997 and is now a member of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Hall of Fame.
The 2006 awards ceremony, which will be held at The Desert Springs JW Marriott Resort & Spa in Palm Springs, CA, marks an important milestone – the 20th Anniversary for the award. Comedian Jay Leno will once again be the master of ceremonies for the evening, and speakers include 2005 winner, Arthur M. Blank, Owner and CEO of Home Depot; Build-A-Bear Workshop Chief Executive Bear, Maxine Clark; actress and children's book author Jamie Lee Curtis, and political authorities Mary Matalin and James Carville.

Judges choose a winner in 10 categories, including Retail & Consumer Products, Financial Services and Media/ Entertainment/ Communications, and one of these 10 winners is recognized as the overall Entrepreneur of the Year. The 2006 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards and Gala will take place November 16 – 19, 2006.
