Manchester, NH (April 13, 2005) – CCA Global Partners and Flooring America are pleased to announce that Mike Englert, Flooring America Vice President of Merchandising, has been promoted to the new position of Vice President—Soft Surface Products for all floor covering divisions of CCA Global Partners.

With over 33 years of floor covering experience, Englert brings a thorough understanding of CCA members’ needs, ranging from merchandising to buying. In his position with Flooring America, he concentrated on the merchandising needs of that division.

“With the redefinition of roles, Mike was performing the job of Corporate Buyer, while holding the position of Division Merchandiser,” explained Vinnie Virga, President of Flooring America. “He is loved by the Flooring America membership and will continue to be very involved and focused on our division,” Virga added.

In Englert’s new role, he will join the CCA Corporate Product Group led by Chief Product Officer, Jim Gould.
“Mike is respected by members and vendors alike,” remarked Gould. “He will bring knowledge, experience, and energy to our group.”

Englert will work with Andrea Lauer and Ed Carr to oversee carpet buying for all floor covering divisions of CCA Global Partners. His new duties will entail the implementation of the new buying strategy that was started by CCA Global Partners last year.
