AGAINST BREAST CANCER ONCE AGAIN THIS SPRING
MANCHESTER, NH(March 28, 2007) – Carpet One Floor & Home is excited to kick-off its fourth year of raising funds for the fight against breast cancer this spring. To date, Carpet One Floor & Home stores throughout North America have raised more than $450,000 for breast cancer awareness and research through sales of their pink ribbon welcome mats. Each fall and spring, the company introduces a new collection of specially-designed seasonal welcome mats, donating 25% of U.S. sales to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
The Spring 2007 Carpet One Welcomes Your Support Campaign will begin in April and continue throughout June. The new collection features spring and summer flowers and themes that make a perfect gift for Mother’s Day. In addition to raising funds for breast cancer research, Carpet One Floor & Home stores also spread the word about breast cancer prevention by distributing informational brochures to customers who visit their showrooms.
