CARPET ONE FLOOR & HOME INTRODUCES EXCLUSIVE COLLECTION OF CORK FLOORS
DALLAS, TX (March 6, 2007) – Carpet One Floor & Home introduced a new exclusive collection of cork products at their annual Winter Convention in Dallas. The collection includes 15 styles in two categories: Montado Oak and Montado Earth.
Carpet One Floor & Home chose to introduce this unique exclusive collection due to the growing consumer demand for environmentally friendly products for the home. Unlike any other flooring surface, cork is a natural product, making it completely recyclable and biodegradable.
“Cork has some unique characteristics that make it very appealing to today’s homeowners,” explained Charlie Dilks, COO of Carpet One Floor & Home and President of Carpet One Floor & Home Canada. “It is extremely resilient, reduces noise and offers more warmth than any other type of flooring. Plus, it is a renewable and sustainable resource, making it an environmentally friendly product.”

The Montado Earth collection includes three styles with blocked, random and linear looks, while the Montado Oak collection features three styles in a total of 12 colors. With an insulating cork underlay, these products offer additional warmth and noise reduction. Plus, they feature a high-endurance vinyl anti-scratch finish, considered the most revolutionary on the market.
The Montado Earth collection has a 15-year residential warranty and a 5-year commercial warranty. The Montado Oak collection has a 25-year residential warranty and an impressive 15-year commercial warranty.
The Montado collections will be available in Carpet One Floor & Home stores throughout North America in April 2007.
