| CARPET ONE FLOOR & HOME CONTINUES TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THE FIGHT AGAINST BREAST CANCER DURING NATIONAL BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH
MANCHESTER, NH (September 12, 2006) – Carpet One Floor & Home will continue to raise funds for the fight against breast cancer this October during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. During the third year of the Carpet One Welcomes Your Support campaign, Carpet One Floor & Home stores throughout North America will introduce a new fall collection of specially-designed pink ribbon welcome mats to raise funds for breast cancer research and awareness. Twenty-five percent of sales will go to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation ® (www.bcrfcure.org).
This campaign will kick-off Carpet One Floor & Home’s third year of supporting breast cancer awareness through this extraordinary national campaign. During the past four campaigns, Carpet One Floor & Home stores have raised nearly $400,000 for the cause. Plus, each store has been spreading the word about breast cancer prevention through Carpet One Floor & Home’s informational brochures.
