| CARPET ONE FLOOR & HOME APPOINTS NEW ADVISORY COUNCIL MEMBERS
MANCHESTER, NH(August 8, 2006) – Carpet One Floor & Home recently appointed six new members to their Advisory Council. These 18 storeowners act as liaisons between the entire membership and Carpet One Floor & Home executives. The new appointees are:
Northwest Region:

Southwest Region:
Billy Ward – Artistic Carpet One Floor & Home (Lancaster, CA)
Midwest Region:
Tom Jennings – Bud Jennings Carpet One Floor & Home (Lawrence, KS)
New England Region:
Stuart Shapiro – Tile & Carpet Town Carpet One Floor & Home (Dewitt, NY)
Southeast Region:
Mark Stinson – Stinson Carpet One Floor & Home (Apopka, FL)
Central East Canada Region:
Jane Vander Baaren – Custom Décor Carpet One Floor & Home (Brockville, ON)
Members of Carpet One Floor & Home’s Advisory Council meet with executives on a regular basis to review and evaluate Carpet One Floor & Home marketing, training and merchandising programs; discuss floor covering industry-related topics and trends; and continually develop and improve the company’s strategic plan for the future. Carpet One Floor & Home retailers are invited to join the Advisory Council based on their involvement in Carpet One Floor & Home programs, commitment to their fellow retailers and desire to improve the company as a whole.
