Carpet One Stores Will Introduce a Spring Collection of Specially-Designed Pink Ribbon Welcome Mats This April to Raise Funds for the Cause
MANCHESTER, NH (March 9, 2006) – Carpet One will introduce a new collection of specially-designed pink ribbon welcome mats in April to continue their support for the fight against breast cancer. This spring marks Carpet One’s fourth “Carpet One Welcomes Your Support” campaign, which raises funds for the American Cancer Society’s breast cancer programs through sales of the distinctive welcome mats.
Carpet One stores throughout the United States and Canada are participating in this extraordinary campaign. During the previous three campaigns, Carpet One stores nationwide have raised more than $340,000 for the American Cancer Society and the Canadian Cancer Society.
The new spring welcome mats, designed exclusively for Carpet One, feature the flowers and colors of the season. They are perfect for updating your entryway this spring and are a great gift for Mother’s Day – or even Father’s Day! Carpet One stores will donate 25 percent of the sale price from each mat to their local American Cancer Society office; all funds from the stores will be earmarked for breast cancer awareness, research and advocacy.
