TORONTO, ON (July 29, 2005) – Carpet One recently announced that they will be introducing a new collection of resilient flooring from Tarkett this fall. The “Passages” collection, which is exclusive to Carpet One stores, features twelve wood styles and twelve stone styles.

Tarkett Flex Floor utilizes cutting-edge technology not available in traditional resilient floors. It is extremely stable and virtually impervious to moisture, so it’s perfect for mudrooms, kitchens and bathrooms. Plus, the low-maintenance flooring requires no gluing, so it is easy for homeowners to change out or replace.

“This is a very unique product that we’re excited to offer to our consumers,” said Charlie Dilks, COO of Carpet One and President of Carpet One Canada. “I think our members will be very enthusiastic about incorporating a new exclusive brand like Passages into their showrooms.”

The Passages collection features either a 15 or 20-year wear warranty and a 90-day satisfaction guarantee. Carpet One plans to launch the new product in stores in September.
